Schedule a Student “Shadow” Day
The student shadow day is important part of learning more about the school as students gain first hand experience of the academic and social environment through their full immersion of “Kirby culture.” Students are matched with a student host who escorts them to classes and lunch. Contact the Admissions Office at (831) 423-0658×202 to schedule a student shadow.
Shadows for entry in fall of 2010 may be scheduled beginning October 13, 2009.
Shadow Facts
- Shadows may be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays
- Students spend the full day, checking in at the Admissions Office by 8:10 a.m. Classes start at 8:15am and end at 3:35pm.
- Students may bring their lunch or purchase a delicious hot lunch in the school cafeteria for $6.50. Vegetarian entrees are available.
- It is helpful for students to bring a book or something to work on in case their host has a study hall or test in one of their classes.
