Spring Concert: Musical Memories: May 28, 2009
You are invited to roll down memory lane with at the “Musical Memories” Spring Concert. Featured performers include the Jazz and Chamber Choirs who recently won Gold and First Places at the Heritage Music Festival in Anaheim, the seven students who were chosen to be in the State Honors Choir, the Chorus, and Chamber Ensemble. This concert is on Thursday, May 28th at 7 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 900 High Street, Santa Cruz. Admission is free.
Kirby Dance Company presents “Zero Gravity!” – Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Please join us for The Kirby Dance Company extravaganza featuring original dances from students, faculty and guest artists under the direction of Beth Pettengill Riley, Kirby dance instructor and former member of Tandy Beal & Co and former dance faculty member of Cabrillo College and UCSC. Guest artists include Theater Arts majors from UCSC as well as local professional dancers. The performance is at the Santa Cruz High School Theater at 415 Walnut Street in Santa Cruz. Chamber Choir performs at Santa Cruz Baroque Festival: Listening to Nature – Musique Plein Air – April 18, 2009
Delight in the sounds of birds, breezes, waterfalls, whirlwinds, and landscapes by French and Bohemian baroque masters, performed by the virtuoso ensemble, Lux Musica, and sprightly madrigals sung by the prize-winning vocal ensemble of the Kirby Chamber Choir. Georgiana Bruce Kirby Preparatory School students present the musical You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. This is a wonderful chance to see Kirby’s multi-talented drama and music students perform. Chamber Singers at the Shadowbrook
You are invited to an evening of fine dining and exceptional music on Tuesday, February 10 from 5-8 pm. Award winning Kirby musicians
will serenade you as you dine. This event is part of the Shadowbrook’s popular “Community Tuesday’s” to assist non-profit organizations in Santa Cruz County where 1/3 of your dinner tab will go to Kirby students to help defray travel expenses.
